  • Lead complex corporate, M&A, and transactional matters across a broad and interesting practice: deals, finance, contracts, nonprofits, and more
  • Real earning upside: competitive senior-level base plus eligibility for a 10% quarterly bonus on collected origination fees and a discretionary year-end bonus — your origination and production matter here
  • A genuine path to firm leadership for the right candidate — this firm rewards attorneys who invest in clients and the practice long-term

  • Doylestown offers an exceptional quality of life — a vibrant, historic small city with strong regional access, without the overhead or grind of a large‑firm environment
Location:

This is a full-time, on‑site position based in Doylestown, PA (Bucks County). The role is best suited for candidates already living in Bucks County or Montgomery County, PA. Candidates commuting from Center City Philadelphia may find the drive difficult to sustain long‑term — we want to set you up for success from day one.

Note:

Candidates must hold an active Pennsylvania Bar license and have 7+ years of law firm experience in corporate, transactional, and/or M&A work. In‑house‑only backgrounds are not a fit for this role. Candidates meeting these requirements are encouraged to apply.

We are a full-service Bucks County law firm with over three decades of experience serving businesses, nonprofits, families, and entrepreneurs throughout the greater Philadelphia region. Our corporate and transactional practice handles everything from business formation and commercial contracts to mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and commercial finance — and we bring the same depth and personalized service to every engagement, regardless of client size. Confidential Employer.

  • Lead corporate, M&A, and transactional matters with senior‑level autonomy and client ownership
  • Advise clients on business formation, governance, restructuring, and strategic transactions
  • Negotiate and close mergers, acquisitions, asset and stock purchases, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
  • Handle private placement transactions and commercial finance engagements
  • Draft, review, and negotiate high‑stakes commercial contracts across a diverse client base
  • Counsel clients on business disputes, risk mitigation, and transactional strategy
  • Support nonprofit clients on governance, compliance, and transactional matters
  • Collaborate across practice groups — real estate, litigation, employment — on matters with transactional dimensions
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to the development of the corporate practice group
  • Drive business development and client origination; participate in firm leadership over time
Qualifications
  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license (required)
  • 7+ years of law firm experience in corporate, transactional, and/or M&A work (required)
  • Broad transactional background strongly preferred: M&A, private placements, commercial contracts, commercial finance, business disputes, nonprofits, real estate
  • Law firm background required — in‑house‑only experience is not a fit for this role
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead transactions independently, and mentor junior attorneys
  • Existing book of business or demonstrated business development track record a plus
  • Bucks County or Montgomery County residence strongly preferred
Why you will love working here
