Job summary

KBF Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate for its Corporate Tax Services team in the Irvine area. This role focuses on income tax accounting assistance, tax compliance, and tax planning strategies within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, CPA exam eligibility, and at least 2 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA exam eligibility
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles
• Minimum 2 years of tax experience in public accounting, ASC 740 experience
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax provisions under ASC 740.
• Lead tax provision and tax compliance services timely and accurately.
• Manage project deadlines and client expectations.
• Review interns' and associates' work before management review.
• Communicate status, timeline, issues, and budgets with leadership.
• Stay current on ASC 740 changes and tax law.
• Develop and manage client relationships.
