Purpose

This role will support the Chief Strategy Officer in driving execution on the company’s highest priority strategic initiatives.This individual will bring analytical rigor, structured thinking, and project management discipline to a wide range of enterprise-level efforts—including M&A, performance management, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or comparable strategy function, with strong business acumen, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias for action.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiative Support & Execution

· Lead project management for high-impact strategic initiatives across functions, ensuring alignment with CEO/CSO priorities and timely execution.

· Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, drive accountability, and proactively identify and resolve roadblocks.

M&A Strategy & Execution

· Support M&A sourcing activities, including market scans, target profiling, and coordination with external partners.

· Develop a comprehensive M&A Playbook that codifies the company's approach to screening, diligence, and deal execution.

· Co-develop an Integration Playbook to accelerate value capture post-close, including organizational, operational, and cultural integration elements.

Performance & KPI Management

· Partner with key stakeholders to define, automate, and operationalize enterprise KPIs.

· Lead the design and implementation of scalable, automated performance dashboards for executive and board-level reporting.

Organizational Effectiveness & Ways of Working

· Identify and implement process improvements that enhance how teams collaborate and make decisions.

· Lead or support cross-functional efforts to improve indirect sourcing, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

· Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights that drive decision-making. Demonstrated ability to structure problems, conduct quantitative analysis, and develop data-backed recommendations.

· Commercial Acumen & Business Judgment: Applies sound commercial judgment to implement initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. Fast learner with a strong desire to understand our business, adapt to changing priorities, and operate effectively in ambiguity.

· Execution-Focused: Comfortable working under pressure and managing to tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. Persistent in driving results aligned to strategic goals and business priorities.

· Project & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates strong planning, organization, and execution discipline.

· Leadership & Growth Mindset: Operates with self-awareness, humility, and a growth mindset. Sets the tone for high-performance, demonstrates accountability, and is motivated to grow within Reece USA as a future leader.

· Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to build trust, influence across levels, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including executive leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field

· 2–4 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or corporate strategy role

· Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and driving execution across multiple stakeholders

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and develop practical solutions

· Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence across all levels of the organization

· High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting M&A activities (e.g., sourcing, diligence, integration, or playbook development)

· Familiarity with performance management tools and KPI/dashboard development (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)

· Experience in a distribution, industrial, or supply chain-driven business environment

· Exposure to process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) or transformation programs

· MBA or relevant graduate degree (not required but a plus)

· Track record of building relationships across functions and driving initiatives that require change management
