Figure is seeking a Corporate Security Engineer in San Jose, CA for a senior, hands-on IC role. You will shape endpoint security controls across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS, and design authentication and access controls for applications.

The team emphasizes threat modeling, security reviews for SaaS/third parties, and collaboration with IT and Detection. This position requires 5 days in-office on-site at our San Jose HQ.

Qualifications

• Software engineering discipline in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Configuration-as-code and CI/CD applied to corporate infrastructure.
• Threat-modeling judgment to prioritize problems and drive the latter to completion.
• 6+ years in corporate or enterprise security engineering.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build endpoint hardening controls across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.
• Design application authentication, RBAC, and access lifecycle from first principles.
• Run security review and governance for SaaS and third parties.
• Build inventories: application discovery and posture management; feed vulnerability data.
• Threat model the corporate attack surface and coordinate with IT and Detection teams.
• Use AI to assist access reviews, triage, and analysis to speed decision-making.
