Job summary

Lionsgate in Santa Monica, CA seeks a Manager of Corporate Reporting to lead external financial reporting and corporate accounting, partnering with senior executives on strategic initiatives.

The role prepares and reviews SEC filings, ensures US GAAP and SOX compliance, and guides accounting guidance on M&A, investments, and capital markets. It provides significant exposure to the CFO and other finance executives within Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license required or CPA-eligible and actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• 4–6 years of relevant work experience; public accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive-facing stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, document, and reconcile journal entries during the close process.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
• Assist with the preparation of SEC filings including Forms 8-K and proxy filings.
• Serve as a point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Assist with monthly debt compliance calculations and reporting.
• Prepare quarterly and annual government surveys.
