About the role
The Senior Corporate Pilot (Director Level) is responsible for end-to-end flight execution—from detailed planning and preflight inspections to in-flight decision-making and post-flight reviews. You’ll operate company aircraft in full compliance with FAA regulations and PayPal policies while ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
What you’ll do
- Operate company aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with all applicable regulations and company SOPs.
- Create and execute thorough flight plans, considering weather, routing, alternates, performance, and fuel requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive preflight inspections of aircraft systems, avionics, engines, landing gear, and safety equipment.
- Coordinate with air traffic control for clearances, departures, en route operations, and arrivals.
- Manage abnormal and emergency situations using established procedures and sound judgment.
- Uphold passenger safety and comfort, communicating flight details and addressing needs discreetly and professionally.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and regulatory compliance across logs, checklists, and operational records.
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of relevant flying experience, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time, including 2,000 hours turbine/multi‑engine.
- Current ATP certificate and FAA First‑Class Medical.
- Expertise in flight planning, meteorology, performance, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication, discretion, and customer-service mindset.
- Proven ability to think clearly and act decisively under pressure.
Licenses & compliance
- Required Licenses: ATP (Unrestricted or Restricted)
- Medical: Current FAA First‑Class Medical Certificate
- Regulatory: Full adherence to FAA regulations and PayPal operating policies
Travel & schedule
