Job summary

PayPal is seeking a highly experienced aircraft operations professional in San Jose, CA to lead the safe transport of executives and clients to diverse destinations. You will plan flights, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the highest safety and comfort standards for passengers.

The role requires 5,000+ total flight hours with 2,000+ turbine/multi-engine hours, ATP certification, and FAA First-Class Medical. Travel 90% is expected, with a balanced hybrid work model where applicable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant aviation experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time, including 2,000 hours turbine/multi-engine time.
• Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Create and implement detailed flight plans, considering weather and fuel needs.
• Coordinate with air traffic control during take-off, flight, and landing.
• Manage in-flight emergencies using proven procedures and problem solving.
