Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Corporate Paralegal with 7+ years of experience for its in-house Global Legal and Compliance department at the Oak Brook, IL headquarters. You will handle corporate governance, entity maintenance, document and contract management, and projects aimed at improving records management and legal operations.

You report directly to the General Counsel and collaborate with cross-functional teams on M&A, due diligence, and regulatory responses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a corporate legal department.
• Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with discretion.
• Experience with corporate governance, entity maintenance, and contract review workflows.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all corporate governance record keeping, including certificates of incorporation, by-laws, operating agreements, and meeting minutes.
• Manage database of legal entity data and maintain current organizational charts.
• Assist with consolidating legal entity structures and annual regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and respond to inquiries.
• Act as Notary public for the organization.
• Provide contract support, including workflow management and reviews.
• Collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams on special projects, M&A, due diligence, and information requests.
• Support litigation-related activities, including discovery responses and eDiscovery management.
