This role will also collaborate with SEG’s Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Hospitality, and Sponsorship teams as needed. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from an in-house legal department or law firm, with a focus on corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance.What You Will Do* Provide corporate governance support, including Board of Directors materials (via Diligent) and Annual Shareholder Meeting logistics* Manage legal entity records, organizational charts, and franchise tax payments in coordination with CSC* Assist with SEC and other regulatory filings* Draft and review basic legal contracts (NDAs, LOIs, sponsorship agreements, event/venue buy-out agreements, purchase orders, etc.)* Support administrative insurance claims management (preferred, not required), coordinating with claims representatives and tracking matters to resolution* Partner with cross-functional teams across SEG on legal and business initiatives* Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across all legal processesAbout You**:*** Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred* 8+ years of experience in a legal department (in-house or law firm)* Strong knowledge of corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance* Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently* Excellent communication, drafting, and organizational skills* Familiarity with legal terminology and commercial contract structures* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Diligent board management software* Experience with Broadridge, Computershare, and DTCC preferred**Compensation range: $105,000 – $150,000 per year**NOTICE TO THIRD PARTY AGENCIESPlease note that Seaport Entertainment Group does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
