We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Event Manager with a proven track record of planning and executing large-scale, formal corporate events in the B2B sector. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience managing high-profile events that cater to C-level executives and VIP guests, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience.

Our client is backfilling this role and needs someone with immediate availability to start. The event takes place in two weeks and will be onsite in Chicago. All of the planning and strategy is complete, so we're looking for someone who can help direct and execute the event. In this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the stand-in director, overseeing all operations of the event, ensuring flawless execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment with event objectives.
• Manage timelines and logistics with precision.
• Ensure a premium experience for C-level attendees and VIP guests, including personalized services and high-touch engagement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in corporate event management, ideally in the B2B space.
• Demonstrated success managing complex events with 200+ attendees and high-level executive participation.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the event in Chicago and start the briefing process immediately.
  
  

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
