Job summary
Sartorius is seeking a Corporate Development Professional to identify and connect external technologies and innovation opportunities for long-term portfolio growth. Ideal candidates have a strong engineering/Life Sciences background and 7+ years in technology scouting or related fields, with a track record in technology licensing and OEM
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technology scouting, open innovation, technology partnerships, technology licensing, OEM management or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Identify Biotech Incubators and opportunities and present recommendations to Corporate Development.
- Negotiate and execute partnership agreements with Biotech Incubators.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Business Units and Emerging Businesses to gather internal knowledge on external innovations.
- Assess external technologies and sourcing options using technical, commercial and strategic criteria.
- Engage startups, academic institutions and external networks to secure early access to critical technologies.
