Job summary

Explorer Pipeline, Inc. seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance to support compliance with regulatory requirements and management of right-of-way. The role covers contract development, litigation support, project oversight, and handling complex corporate matters.

The ideal candidate will draft and negotiate contracts, manage regulatory affairs, support operations and engineering projects, and coordinate with outside counsel to advance the company’s legal position.

Qualifications

• Ability to actively engage in safe behavior and follow pipeline safety rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of emergency, safety procedures and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to draft contracts, policies, reports and legal documents accurately.
• Experience in advising on legally permissible strategies for company operations.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and employees on legally permissible strategies for operations.
• Draft, review and approve all company contracts including real estate and ROW.
• Negotiate right-of-way easements, deeds, permits, and licenses.
• Provide litigation support and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Monitor regulatory changes and prepare memos and procedures.
