Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree plus license to practice law in one or more states.
• Current Missouri Bar member or ability to become one within six months.
• Minimum of five years of legal experience at a large firm, corporate department, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with business partners and mitigates risk.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and provide legal advice on complex matters across privacy, data security and AI governance.
• Counsel on complex transactions including professional services agreements and licenses.
• Review client interactions for privacy, disclosures, terms and data use with risk awareness.
• Collaborate with senior legal leaders to support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor evolving laws and design compliant solutions in privacy and AI.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy, data security, AI, marketing and sourcing.
• Meet commitments, work with minimal supervision and assist on diverse projects.
• Manage outside counsel within budget and handle travel as needed.
