Qualifications

• Qualified Attorney or equivalent legal qualification with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in South African corporate and commercial law.
• Experience with hybrid work models, demonstrating adaptability and effective remote collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage complex legal projects.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal opinions.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate secretarial functions, including the preparation and filing of statutory documents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and contracts.
• Provide legal advice on corporate law, compliance, and risk management issues.
• Manage legal aspects of corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements in South Africa.
