Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Corporate Counsel to support government contracting efforts in the Mission Systems Sector. The role involves counseling on prime contracts, subcontracts, and related compliance, reporting to senior legal leadership, and coordinating with multiple internal teams.

The position may be located in Linthicum, MD or Falls Church, VA or McLean, VA; relocation assistance may be available. A U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and active state bar membership.
• At least 10 years of relevant U.S. Government contracting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience in contract work at law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department.
• Ability to analyze complex legal concepts and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Counsel on pursuit, capture, negotiation, execution and administration of U.S. Government and commercial prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Coordinate with IP, environmental, health, safety, real estate and labor relations teams; advise on related matters.
