Job summary

PEAC Solutions is seeking a Corporate Counsel in Mt. Laurel, NJ to lead commercial contracting and regulatory efforts. This role reports to the SVP/GC and supports multiple departments including marketing, operations, and finance.

You will review day-to-day operations for legal risk, provide guidance on licensing, regulatory frameworks (GLBA, UDAAP, TCPA, FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA), and manage outside counsel as needed to drive strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires a J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
• Member in good standing of a state bar with ability to waive into New Jersey in-house counsel license.
• Minimum 5+ years of legal experience in commercial equipment lease financing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel; able to navigate NMLS and licensing sites.
• Strong written/verbal communication and ability to manage outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts and legal agreements across sales channels and departments.
• Act as strategic partner to drive growth and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Advise business teams on new products, programs, and services.
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance and transactions to minimize risk.
