Eagle Creek is seeking a Corporate Counsel to structure, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements supporting energy generation projects and infrastructure. The role also oversees governance, compliance, and policies across FERC, energy law, and environmental requirements.

You will advise executives on deal structure and risk, manage strategic transactions, and coordinate with external counsel. Strong JD, bar admission, and 4–7 years of relevant experience are required.

Formación

• 4–7 years of legal experience with at least 3 years in commercial transactions, project development, or M&A.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements with limited supervision; familiarity with energy-sector documents is a plus.
• Strong project management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to convey legal analysis to senior leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts including vendor contracts, PPAs, EPC and O&M, and NDA agreements.
• Advise leaders on deal structure, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance for energy/infrastructure projects.
• Lead elements of strategic transactions including due diligence and post-closing integration support.
• Assist with corporate governance, board materials, and entity management for project companies.
• Develop and maintain policies addressing compliance with licenses, permits, and environmental/labor laws.
