Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an accounting emphasis.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
• Experience auditing technology and venture-backed clients preferred.
• Interest in venture-backed startups and technology ecosystems.
• Experience as primary client contact or engagement lead preferred.
• Professionalism, integrity and client-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client audit engagements, including planning, executing, and completing audits.
• Understand venture-backed tech business models, financing structures, and metrics.
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for management (CFOs, controllers).
• In-charge or supervise multiple engagements with teams of 2–3 associates.
• Research complex accounting and auditing matters for growth-stage companies.
• Apply GAAS while delivering practical client insights.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns.
• Report to Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
