Requirements include 6+ years of corporate/transactional experience, strong M&A background, excellent academics, and active Illinois Bar status. Base salary ranges with discretionary bonus are described by the firm.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of corporate and transactional experience
• Strong M&A and general corporate background
• Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated transaction documents
• Ability to independently manage matters and interact directly with clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Business development experience is a plus
• Active Illinois Bar admission and in good standing

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters
• Provide practical, business-focused counsel throughout transactions
• Negotiate and structure mergers, acquisitions, and strategic ventures
• Draft and review sophisticated transaction documents
• Interact directly with clients and manage matters independently
