Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Attorney to work on-site at the Corporate office in San Diego, CA, or at other U.S. locations.

The role focuses on complex contracting, M&A, regulatory compliance, and oversight of litigation with outside counsel. The attorney will provide legal guidance across departments, support government contracts, trade compliance, and employment matters, and must have a US law license and ability to obtain a security clearance if

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts for government/defense sectors.
• Experience with M&A transactions and managing outside counsel.
• Knowledge of trade compliance and employment-law matters.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
• Active license to practice law in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate matters including securities compliance, data privacy, risk management and contract management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and US Government contracts and related agreements.
• Support contract lifecycle management and cross-functional reviews.
• Assist on M&A, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-closing integration.
