• Ability to take on increasing responsibility, lead on deals, draft and negotiate complex documents, and interact directly with clients.
• Illinois license or ability to waive in; in‑house counsel considered only if 6+ years AmLaw 200 experience.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must have 6-14 years of post JD experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and LLC/shareholder agreements as well as day-to-day corporate counseling matters in an AmLaw 200 firm setting. Ideal candidates must be comfortable taking on increasing responsibility, playing a leading role on deals, drafting and negotiating complex documents, and interacting directly with clients.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Illinois or the ability to waive in.
• AmLaw 200 (or comparable) Firm experience is required.
• In-house counsel will only be considered if they also have 6+ years of recent AmLaw 200 Firm experience.
