Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in New York City seeks a Senior Corporate Attorney to manage complex business transactions from inception to closing. The ideal candidate will provide strategic counsel to middle-market entrepreneurs and possess NY admission and a JD.

The role requires four days in the NYC office and one day remote, offering exposure to sophisticated deals within a collaborative, growth-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in corporate and transactional law.
• Experience handling middle-market business transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters from inception to completion.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage corporate transactions from initial structuring through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including buy/sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate formations.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to middle-market business clients.
• Interface directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct due diligence and manage transaction timelines.
• Identify and mitigate legal and business risks.
