Join our team as a Senior Corporate Applications Analyst in the Corporate Finance Department, ERP Business Operations Group. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll and absence management processes, as well as providing functional and technical support for our ERP finance system. This position is critical in managing system configurations, data analysis, and technical troubleshooting to support our business operations.

1. Requirements Gathering & Process Improvement

  • Identify and document business needs, functional requirements, and system enhancements for payroll and absence management processes.
  • Conduct business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system configurations meet business needs.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze payroll and absence management data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports for payroll staff and leadership.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools to generate insights that support decision-making.

3. System Configuration & Change Management

  • Serve as the technical lead for payroll and absence management system upgrades and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Change Control procedures for system modifications.
  • Participate in system testing for new features, patches, and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Document system changes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.

4. Technical Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Diagnose, analyze, and recommend solutions for data integrity issues, system errors, and process inefficiencies related to payroll and absence management.
  • Open, track, and follow up on support tickets with Lawson Extreme, working closely with vendors and internal IT teams until resolution.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of solutions, updates, and patches applied to payroll and absence management modules.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training

  • Act as a liaison between payroll operations, IT teams, and ERP developers, ensuring business requirements align with technical solutions.
  • Provide system support to payroll and absence management teams, addressing user inquiries and technical challenges.
  • Develop training materials and deliver end-user training on ERP system updates, reporting tools, and best practices.

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies, absence management regulations, and enterprise system protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, issue logs, and resolutions for audit and reference purposes.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits related to payroll and absence management systems.

7. ERP Finance System Support

  • Provide functional and technical support for the ERP finance system.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure system configurations meet financial reporting and operational needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ERP finance system, ensuring minimal disruption to financial processes.

  • Work must be performed accurately and may require occasional overtime, after hours, weekend, or on-call work.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field.
  2. Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis or related experience that includes experience with functional software applications (e.g., enterprise financial, supply change management system, human resources information system), which includes configuration maintenance, troubleshooting training and end-user support
  3. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted, which together total eight (8) years.
