A high-growth CPG company is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their collaborative finance team in a hybrid role. You'll manage monthly close activities, analyze financial data, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and compliance. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 5 years of corporate accounting experience, with a strong proficiency in SAP and Excel. 💵 $95,000–$105,000 base + 10% bonus | Hybrid (1-2 days onsite in NYC)

We’re partnering with a high-growth CPG company to help them hire a Senior Corporate Accountant with a strong foundation in GL, month‑end close, SAP, and intercompany reconciliations. This team is lean, organized, and stable—ideal for someone who enjoys process ownership and wants to operate with autonomy in a hybrid NYC‑based role.

This position is backfilling a key contributor who was in the role for 4+ years. You’ll step into a fully built structure with room to ask smart questions, dig into financials, and improve processes along the way.

Highlights

• Salary: $95K–$105K base + 10% bonus
• Location: Hybrid (1‑2 days onsite in NYC, 3‑4 days WFH)
• Software: SAP, BPC, Excel
• Team: Collaborative finance org supporting US and Canada ops
• Backfill: Replacing a long‑term team member (steady‑state role)

What You’ll Do

• Own monthly close activities: reclasses, accruals, reconciliations, and financial postings in SAP
• Analyze GL accounts, BPC entries, and intercompany flows
• Manage financial statement reporting packages and audit workpapers
• Support fixed asset, lease, and working capital tracking
• Partner cross‑functionally across departments to drive accuracy and compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience
• SAP or large ERP experience required
• Manufacturing or CPG industry background preferred
• Strong Excel and attention to detail
• Big 4 experience is a plus but not required
