The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation, strong Excel and accounting software skills, attention to detail, and an interest in developing into an accounting leadership role as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience including GL accounting and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records across multiple entities and locations.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany balances, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, including invoice review, payment processing, and collection follow-up.
• Reconcile restaurant sales, POS activity, delivery-platform payments, and merchant deposits.
• Review payroll entries and coordinate with HR and payroll providers to resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and analysis of food costs, labor costs, and store profitability.
• Coordinate with external accountants on tax filings and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized records and help improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Work with operations and other departments to resolve accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records across multiple entities and locations.

• Supervising accounting staff and coordinating external accounting relationships.
• Presenting financial results and recommendations to management.

Advancement will depend on performance, demonstrated leadership, and business needs.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
