About the team + role

Robinhood is looking for a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join our rapidly growing Corporate Accounting team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team player. This individual will need to be able to pick things up quickly and meet deadlines with multiple tasks.

Location preference: It is preferred that this role is located in one of the listed office locations, aligning with our in-office environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited US regions where we lack physical offices. Please connect with your recruiter for more details regarding our in-office expectations.

What you’ll do

• Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and credit card servicing, including preparing and maintaining monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis.
• Assist with internal team requests and external audit requests.
• Research key accounting issues and suggest best practices in accordance with standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, technical accounting, and business systems teams.
• Establish accounting processes for consolidations and transfer pricing, providing stakeholders with requirements and setting up monthly processes.
• Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes.
• Assist with system automation projects as needed.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in public accounting and industry
• Understanding of GAAP standards
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
• Hands-on experience in financial close process (preferred)
• Experience with foreign entity accounting and consolidations

Base pay varies based on factors like education, experience, location, and market needs. The salary range is aligned with the work location and compensation zone. This role is eligible for Robinhood bonus and equity plans. For locations not listed, salary discussions will occur during the interview process.

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $89,000 - $105,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $78,000 - $92,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $70,000 - $82,000 USD
