Our culture combines entrepreneurial speed with operational discipline. We move quickly, challenge conventional thinking, and expect every team member to have a meaningful impact on the business.

We offer competitive compensation, discretionary annual bonuses, unlimited PTO, comprehensive medical benefits, wellness and professional development allowances, and a freezer stocked with Feel Good Foods products.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands‑on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role is responsible for executing the day-to-day accounting operations that keep the Company's financial records complete, accurate and current. You will process accounting transactions, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, support inventory accounting, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, and assist with the monthly close process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. As Feel Good Foods continues to grow, you'll play an important role in building a scalable accounting function while partnering closely with the Controller to support audits, process improvements and system enhancements.

What You'll Own
Daily Accounting Operations
  • Process day-to-day accounting transactions in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for routine accounting activities.
  • Process vendor invoices, customer receipts, employee expense reports and other accounting transactions.
  • Maintain vendor and customer master data.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including payment processing, collections and customer deductions.
  • Support payroll accounting by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
Month‑End Close
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare accruals, prepaid schedules, fixed asset reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and other financial accounts.
  • Support the Controller in executing a timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual close process.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Inventory & Cost Accounting
  • Perform inventory reconciliations between NetSuite, third-party warehouses and co‑manufacturers.
  • Process inventory adjustments and investigate inventory variances.
  • Support standard costing, landed cost allocations and inventory reserve calculations.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to maintain accurate inventory records and costing information.
Audit, Compliance & Documentation
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for the annual external audit.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with tax filings, sales tax reporting and other compliance activities.
  • Help maintain accounting procedures that support a strong internal control environment and keep the Company audit‑ready.
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Support ongoing optimization of NetSuite and related accounting systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, eliminate manual work and increase efficiency.
  • Assist with automation initiatives and implementation of accounting best practices.
  • Help maintain accurate accounting documentation and standard operating procedures.
What Success Looks Like
  • Become a trusted partner to the Corporate Controller.
  • Deliver timely, accurate and complete accounting transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Consistently prepare accurate journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Help improve the speed and efficiency of the monthly close process.
  • Maintain organized accounting records that support successful audits and due diligence activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen the accounting function as the Company continues to grow.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing or product-based company.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting and month-end close.
  • Strong understanding of basic inventory accounting and account reconciliations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands‑on mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
