Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Core Integration Engineer for Starlink Mobile to drive the integration, testing and validation of the cellular core network within satellite-based communication systems.

You will work on EPC/IMS integration for handset access, define product requirements and enable global operator collaborations. You will also create design documentation, performance metrics, and roadmaps for carrier‑grade core networking features while coordinating with international partners and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of hands‑on integration of cellular core networks (EPC, 5GC, IMS).
• 2+ years of experience in 4G, LTE, or 5G network delivery, automation, design or deployment.
• Experience with application/transport network interfaces and protocols (e.g. diameter, SCTP, GTP, s1/5/6a/8, NAS, Gx/Rx, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Define LTE EPC product requirements and develop core network integration plans for carrier‑grade networks.
• Create roadmaps for cellular core products globally and support IMS/EPC features.
• Technical partnership program management with international mobile network operators and direct handset integrations.
• Document core network design, integration and performance metrics for international expansion.
