Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Core Integration Engineer to join the Starlink Mobile team.

You will integrate, test, and evaluate the performance and robustness of the satellite communication network across satellites and ground stations, and develop tools to improve testing processes while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires hands-on experience with EPC/IMS/5GC, 4G/5G deployments, scripting, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• 5+ years integrating cellular core networks (EPC, 5GC, IMS).
• 2+ years in 4G/ LTE / 5G network delivery, automation, design or deployment.
• Experience with Diameter, SCTP, GTP, NAS, Gx/Rx, and related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define LTE EPC product requirements and develop core network integration plans.
• Identify technology trades and create roadmaps for core products globally.
• Manage technical partnerships with mobile operators to scale network integrations.
• Document core network design, integration, and performance metrics for international expansion.
