Synechron is seeking a Core Java Developer in New York, onsite, to design, develop and maintain Java applications and microservices. You will work with Spring Boot, SQL and large databases in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Ideal candidates have strong Java JVM tuning skills, deep knowledge of multithreading and experience with microservices. On-site work in NY with competitive compensation and extensive tech training opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Strong Core Java expertise (Java 8/11/17+), JVM internals and performance tuning.
• Microservices architecture experience; design and implement scalable services.
• SQL proficiency with large databases; familiarity with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java applications and microservices.
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance microservices using Spring Boot.
• Handle multi-threaded programming, concurrency control, and performance tuning to ensure low-latency systems.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and data teams to define APIs and data models; ensure secure, well-documented interfaces.
• Build and optimize SQL queries; work with large databases and data structures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing to ensure quality and faster delivery.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in architectural discussions.
• Adhere to security, reliability, and compliance within a financial services context.
