Job summary

Mission Fed Credit Union is seeking a Senior Core & Applications Developer to join our Core Processor Application Development team in a hybrid role in San Diego. You will lead development on our Symitar Episys core platform, mentor peers, and drive initiatives to modernize integrations and enhance member experiences.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in programming, strong design skills, and hands-on experience with Episys and related tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Development, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 4 years of programming experience with strong knowledge of systems design and computer operations.
Extensive experience with Symitar Episys is strongly preferred.
Experience developing with: PowerOn Programming Language, SymConnect / SymXchange, SymForm PDF, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and XML.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and application support.
Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge of AIX/UNIX environments is a plus.
Experience with C++, Perl, PHP, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages is beneficial.
ITIL certification is a plus.
