Job summary

Hudson Rouge, a luxury boutique marketing agency, seeks a Senior Copywriter to craft premium storytelling across multi-channel campaigns from Detroit. You’ll partner with art directors to translate briefs into evocative copy for social, digital, and experiential activations, ensuring the brand voice remains exclusive and aspirational.

You will craft web content, emails, CTAs, and SEO-aware narratives, collaborating with design teams and strategists in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced creative environment.
• Ability to write with a high-end, premium aesthetic—exclusive and aspirational.
• A strong portfolio showing cross-channel creative thinking across media.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Senior Copywriter

We are seeking a versatile, ideas-first Senior Copywriter to join our dynamic creative team in Detroit. This is a role for an adaptive storyteller who is much more than a digital writer. You can crack the creative concept and seamlessly translate it across multiple channels—whether it’s a high-impact social campaign, a targeted digital experience, or a premium physical activation.

In this role, you will partner closely with art directors and designers to shape our primary client’s narrative. You should have the confidence to pitch your ideas, back up your creative choices, and execute them beautifully. What You\'ll Do

Big Ideas & Multi-Channel Campaigns

• Brainstorm & Build: Partner with Art Directors and Designers to co-create fresh, integrated campaign concepts from scratch.
• Translate Briefs: Turn strategy and insights into compelling, human stories that span digital, print, and experiential channels.
• Master the Premium Voice: Elevate the client’s brand narrative by injecting a sophisticated, luxury tone into every piece of copy.
  

Digital Experiences & Web Content

• Craft Web Journeys: Write engaging, high-performing copy for websites, landing pages, and interactive digital spaces.
• Actionable Writing: Create sharp calls-to-action (CTAs) and write intuitive microcopy to enhance the user experience.
• Organic Reach: Blend premium storytelling with SEO best practices to keep content discoverable yet sophisticated.
  

Performance Copy & Social Advertising

• Thumb-Stopping Ads: Write snappy, impactful copy for paid social, display banners, and search engine ads.
• Test & Learn: Collaborate on messaging matrices to test different creative hooks and refine copy based on performance data.
  

Email Journeys & Nurturing

• Engaging Email: Write compelling subject lines and narrative flows for premium lifecycle, promotional, and automated email campaigns.
  

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of copywriting experience, ideally within an agency or fast-paced creative environment.
• Luxury Tone: A proven ability to write with a high-end, premium aesthetic—knowing how to make a brand feel exclusive and aspirational.
• Multi-Channel Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing big-picture creative thinking and work that lives harmoniously jacross multiple media channels. (Automotive experience is a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker!).
• Tech Stack: Fluency in Figma for collaboration, Confluence for documentation, and familiarity working alongside design teams in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborative Spirit: A drive to work seamlessly with strategists, project managers, and clients to bring groundbreaking work to life.
  

Location & Work Style

• Onsite Hub: This is a role based out of our Detroit office.
• The Split: You will collaborate onsite with the team 3–4 days a week, with the remaining days open for hybrid/emote work.
  

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
