Job summary

GSW Santa Monica, powered by Syneos Health, seeks a Group Copy Supervisor to balance creativity with strategic thinking and deliver high-quality work that meets client objectives. This role requires candidates to be based in the Pacific or Mountain time zones to support team collaboration.

You will collaborate across disciplines, write long-form copy, and guide brand information to bolster creative executions for patient and HCP audiences.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience at pharma advertising agency.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual ability and creative problem-solving.
• Experience developing work for both patient and HCP audiences.
• Client-facing experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in advertising, communications, or journalism, and/or coursework related to pharmaceutical advertising or life sciences

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create novel and original work in print, digital and beyond
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional team
• Writing long form copy, establishing and managing the brand tone, claims, and overall copy consistency
• Responsible for guiding and developing the product/service/brand information that bolsters the creative group’s conceptual ideas and creative executions
• Understanding and implementing direction: Can understand creative direction based on objectives and executes creative work effectively
• Communicates workload appropriately based on skill sets and talents; communicates well with others on workload issues & needs, the progress of work and results
