Job summary

NEON, a leading creative agency in New York, is seeking an experienced copywriter to craft copy across brands with a sharp eye for strategy and tone. You’ll bridge client objectives with agency creative vision and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling work.

You will guide language across mediums, provide direction to writers and freelancers, present work to clients, and help maintain brand voice while supporting growth and innovation within the team.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of work demonstrating strong and consistent writing ability required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) or equivalent programs
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Indesign).
• Proficient in social media and digital best practices.
• Knowledge of healthcare copywriting—AMA style, health literacy, referencing and factchecking, prepping for medical/legal/regulatory submissions (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Copywriting and Creative Execution across brand(s) with original, distinctive language.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with Editorial, Account, Strategy, and Project Management teams.
• Guide language for varied audiences across mediums while staying true to brand tone.
• Provide art direction guidance related to concepts.
• Develop bold creative ideas to support brand goals and manage day-to-day copy needs.
• Lead agency/client reviews and revisions, solving problems with supervision.
• Maintain consistency and quality across multiple projects and brands.
