Job summary

Broth Agency is seeking a Group Copy Lead to own brand copy and creative direction, guiding the team with strong writing craft and strategic instincts. You will shape briefs, contribute to brand strategy, and push for creative excellence across multiple channels in a hands-on leadership role.

You will mentor junior writers, collaborate across Editorial, Account, PM, and Medical, and participate in client meetings both in person and remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or related field.
• 6+ years of copywriting experience in an advertising or marketing agency, including experience leading or mentoring junior writers.
• Proven ability to own the copy and creative direction for one or more brands, including data, annotations, guidelines, and category expertise.
• Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, with experience contributing to creative briefs and brand strategy.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a range of tactics and channels.
• Experience presenting and defending creative work directly to clients.
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Account, PM, Editorial, Medical, and other departments.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences agency experience required; including familiarity with MLR/PRC review process.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple brands or projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
• A collaborative, mentorship-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in developing junior talent.
