KBRA Holdings LLC is seeking a New York-based Copy Editor / Senior Copy Editor to join the global Electronic Publishing team. This is an editing role focused on publishing research, rating reports, press releases, and marketing materials to KBRA.com and external platforms.

The role collaborates with U.S. and European colleagues and requires strong editorial standards, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven publishing environment.
• Copy editor experience in corporate or news desk settings.
• Experience with headline writing and reshaping press releases is a plus.
• Ability to rewrite text without altering meaning.
• Familiarity with financial markets and industry terminology.

Responsibilities

• Edit time-sensitive materials in American and British English for quality and style.
• Review documents with Track Changes and PDF markups to propose rewrites.
• Proofread documents converted to our publishing platform.
• Ensure correct graph/table references throughout the text.
• Collaborate with Desktop Publishers and analysts to improve content quality.
• Provide feedback on recurring errors and document processes.
• Leverage AI tools to improve quality and turnaround times.
