McKinsey & Company in Phoenix, AZ invites a senior communications professional to own client-facing messaging from concept to delivery. You’ll partner with designers and consultants to craft persuasive assets for proposals, client engagements, and events, shaping narratives that resonate across audiences and channels.

You will own the quality and impact of client-facing communications from end to end. Partnering with designers and consultants as our internal customers, you will work on a wide variety of assets and ensure that the messaging is sharp and persuasive. You will co-create assets for proposals, client engagements, and internal and external events, including video scripts, immersive content, and print and digital media. You will shape the narrative, sharpen the message, and advise teams on how to communicate ideas that inspire our clients to thought or action. The work ranges from in-depth copy editing of complex documents and presentations to shaping creative, high-impact copy. This requires the ability to shift between deep focus and precision and quick creative thinking. You will write from scratch or rework existing drafts to make them clear, concise, and compelling, tailoring structure, story, and tone to each audience, medium, and purpose. You will also help set the editorial standard and support colleagues in growing their craft. You’ll gain new skills and build on your strengths, receiving functional training and regular coaching and mentoring from colleagues. You will join Visual Graphics & Media in our Phoenix office as part of our Client Editorial Services team and broader Communications Practice. You will be a member of a global function that collaborates with colleagues in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Our highly skilled creative team supports and collaborates with other McKinsey professionals to co-create bespoke design and communications solutions for specific project needs.
