Job Profile Summary
Under limited supervision, this position serves as subject matter expert providing, strategic direction and cross functional collaboration for all veteran-related services and compliance functions. This role ensures that veterans and the dependents of veterans receive comprehensive support throughout the intake, application, certification, and educational-benefits process. Leads staff development and training related to VA educational benefits, compliance requirements, and service delivery standards campus‑wide. Provides oversight, guidance, and training to the Veterans Coordinators.
Acting as the institution’s primary liaison with the Veterans Administration (VA) Regional Processing Office, the Senior Veterans Coordinator ensures full regulatory compliance, consistent service quality, and accurate reporting of VA educational benefits. Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295 applies.
