Job summary

The City of Rockingham is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Community and Recreation Facilities to lead operations across the Mike Barnett Sports Complex, Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex, Rockingham Autumn Centre and more. You will guide safety, quality and service while building strong teams.

You will develop strategic plans, manage annual facility budgets and drive programs that enhance community health, wellbeing and connection. This is a permanent full-time role with a 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in LeisureScience/Recreation or Business/Commerce.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Community and Recreation Facility trends, technological advancements and innovations.
• High level of financial management including oversight of annual facility budgets.
• Well-developed strategic thinking for community and recreation facilities with the ability to deliver relevant strategies and plans across the identified facilities.
• Experience across all operations of facility management including proven leadership skills of a large team.

We areseeking an experienced and motivated professional to oversee theoperations of key community and recreation facilities, includingthe Mike Barnett Sports Complex, Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex,Rockingham Autumn Centre, and other community facilities.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead and develop ahigh-performing team, foster a positive and collaborative workplaceculture, and ensure facilities are operated to the higheststandards of safety, quality, compliance, and service. Workingclosely with the Manager Community and Leisure Facilities, you willplay a key role in delivering strategic outcomes that enhancecommunity participation and support the growing recreational needsof our community.

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

We are offering a gross annualsalary range of $120,603 - $128,590and:

• 12% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute upto a matching 5%
