Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group USA brand, is seeking a full-time Senior Cook at Baxter, Cleveland, MS. You will prepare nutritious meals, lead cooking tasks as needed, and help ensure safety and quality per HACCP guidelines.

The role requires prior culinary and administrative support experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday with variable hours. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, and an internal referral bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrées and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use and perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
