Morrison Living in Durham, NC, is hiring for Senior Cook. This location offers full-time and part-time schedules with shifts 5:00 am–1:30 pm, 11:00 am–7:30 pm, or 11:30 am–8:00 pm, rotating days and weekends. Requires 2 years of batch cooking experience.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a $300 sign-on bonus. You’ll join a supportive culinary team dedicated to hospitality excellence and positive resident experiences.

• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Adherence to HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use and perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for quality and safety of food supply.
• Maintain daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
