Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a Senior Cook for Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. This full-time, evening-shift role requires prior high-volume culinary experience and offers $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the cooking activities of food service staff as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items according to policy; maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safety and quality of the food supply.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.
