Job Summary

Prepare food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy; help maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and departmental sanitation procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assist in the cross‑training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Location: Houston Catering – 1201 Oliver Street, Suite #104, Houston, TX 77007.
• Schedule: Full and part‑time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Availability for events, weekends, and holidays required.
• Required experience: Four years of catering experience; previous off‑site catering experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour.
• Referral Bonus: Available for internal employee referrals.
