Job summary

Sodexo Live is hiring a Senior Cook at the North Charleston location. You will be part of a team focused on quality, safety, and great service, preparing nutritious dishes across multiple meal periods.

This full-time role offers a pay range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour with varying shifts and open availability preferred. Experience of 4+ years and a teamwork mindset are valued, and there are extensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Follows complex recipes and/or product directions
• Produces small to large batch goods using classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
• May oversee production staff and train and assign tasks
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

What You’ll Do: As a Senior Cook at Sodexo Live, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You'll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve. You provide the highest quality of food service to customers at all times .

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Follows complex recipes and/or product directions
• Produces small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
• May have oversight over the production staff train and assign tasks
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
