Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer who will work with a team of skilled engineers to design and improve conveyor systems. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's in mechanical engineering and be proficient in 3D design software, including AutoCAD and Solidworks.

This role involves prototyping, testing, and revising product designs, ensuring safety and reliability. The compensation package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance along with paid vacation and sick time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the material handling industry.
• Experience in conveyor systems for carton or pallet handling.
• Experience with Motor Drive Roller (MDR) and Sortation Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new fabricated products for conveyor systems.
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure robust designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues collaboratively.
