Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of extensive converting equipment experience.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to read and interpret engineering specifications.
• Able to apply concepts of high school math.

Responsibilities

• Set up the print and die-cut sections following proper setup techniques.
• Inspect dies and bolts; ensure secure assembly before runs.
• Monitor anilox rolls for damage pre/post project.
• Check box quality for delamination, warp, size, and print.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Train and assist operators and other staff with duties.
• Cross-train on other machines in the converting department.
• Complete production and safety reports timely and accurately.
• Complete maintenance work orders to meet the schedule.
• Suggest schedule optimizations to hit cost, quality, and service goals.
