Jobot seeks a permanent Controls Technician in central Alabama to maintain and troubleshoot automated systems. You will work with PLCs, sensors, drives, and 3-phase electrical systems, delivering maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in controls/automation maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, sensors, drives, and 3-phase electrical systems.
• Proven maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair track record.
• Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex control systems (PLC, sensors, drives, 3-phase).
• Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Assisting in design and implementation of new control systems to meet operations needs.
• Collaborating with engineering to identify improvements and implement changes.
• Providing training and technical support to teammates on control systems.
