Job summary
MFCP INC, the leading MFCP group and Parker Hannifin distributor, seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and execution of complex electro‑mechanical systems. You will mentor junior engineers, oversee projects from concept through commissioning, and collaborate daily with engineering, fabrication, sales, and customers.
The role requires UL508A/UL698A panel design, AutoCAD Electrical, PLC/HMI programming, and familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21; bachelor’s in engineering and 7–10
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 7–10 years of engineering experience leading projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with UL508A/UL698A panel design and documentation.
- AutoCAD Electrical and PLC/HMI programming experience.
- Familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of assigned projects from quoting to commissioning.
- Conduct engineering reviews of documents, BOMs and content.
- Coordinate and support project management activities on large projects.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing engineer for assigned projects.
- Mentor engineers and technicians and share technical knowledge.
- Develop complete system designs and supporting documentation.
- Maintain communication with customers to support designs and satisfaction.
