Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) is seeking an Advanced Controls Engineer to design and develop software for electromechanical control systems in HVAC products. The role focuses on advancing BAC's digital footprint and enabling customer interactions with software systems.

The candidate will work on controls software, integrate with building management systems via Modbus/BACnet, and contribute to design reviews, best practices, and field support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in developing electro-mechanical control systems software.
• Experience with data communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet).
• Familiarity reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Participate on controls software development projects to provide technical solutions.
• Create software specifications to meet systems requirements.
• Design, develop, and document software for BAC unit control systems.
