Job summary

Diamond Foundry in California is seeking a software & systems engineer to develop and troubleshoot applications for our manufacturing line, interfacing with custom and off-the-shelf equipment to optimize data collection and operator input.

You’ll write production Python code to control equipment, then head to the shop floor to wire, test, and physically troubleshoot hardware, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for production code.
• Ability to interface with manufacturing equipment and data systems.
• Experience in data collection and workflow automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot applications for the manufacturing line.
• Interact with equipment to collect data and control devices using Python.
• Implement data collection improvements and automate workflows.
